National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is an initiative of the Australian Government to offer assistance to people with disabilities, their relatives, and carers. The NDIS may provide eligible Australians under the age of 65 who have a lifelong and substantial disability with the appropriate support, funding and the required services they need to achieve goals approved by NDIS with the purpose to live a normal life.

Wellness Psychology Clinic Australia®, welcomes new NDIS participants. We are a registered provider with the NDIS. We currently work with clients that are NDIS/NDIA managed, self-managed and NDIS plan-managed

We welcome communication with your support coordinators and our pricing is concurrent with the NDIA price guide. Our sign up is simple and all online.

We welcome all new appointments and look forward to hearing from you.

Mental Health & The Australian Community

The mental health of a person influences how they act, perceive, behave and relate to others. A mental disorder includes a variety of conditions that differ in how serious they are and how long they last. Our emotional, psychological, and social well-being requires mental wellbeing. Mental Wellbeing determines how we think, feel, and behave. It also helps decide how we cope with stress, interact with others, and make decisions. At every stage of life, from infancy and adolescence through adulthood, mental health is important.

There are many factors that contribute mental illness. Help is out there, and it is important to seek help so that you can better manage your symptoms. The findings of the Australian Psychological Society Stress and wellbeing in Australia survey 2015 included that the top five causes of stress in Australia over the five years were:

Personal Finances 49%
Family & Issues 45%
Personal Health 44%
Healthy Lifestyle 40%
