Depression

Depression

Depression. When one experiences a sad situation or loss or another similar event, it is natural to experience short-lived low mood or “feeling depressed”. However, sometimes a depressive disorder may develop, where an individual may then experience these symptoms as persistent and severe. This can then lead to interruptions in their daily life, and may also affect their work, social life and relationships.

When one experiences these symptoms, it is important to speak to a health professional, such as a psychologist, that are trained to assist clients to better manage the symptoms associated with low mood and depression. We welcome the opportunity to work with you. We work with children over 9 years of age, adolescents, adults and seniors.
